Fertility

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after trying for more than a year. With changing lifestyles and pre-existing health conditions, around 15% of married couples face infertility issues.

For women, significant factors contributing to infertility include reduced ovarian reserve, endometriosis, ovulation disorders, uterine abnormalities, tubal disease, and unexplained infertility.

In men, hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction and anatomical testicular abnormalities can cause spermatogenic issues, leading to infertility.

Accurate diagnosis of the cause of infertility and timely counseling are crucial before opting for any treatment plans. Dr. Sarika Solanke will expertly guide you to identify the cause and suggest the best treatment plans for you.

3D/4D Ultra-sonography

3D and 4D ultrasound exams provide a more detailed and comprehensive view of your unborn baby compared to a standard 2D ultrasound. With 3D or 4D imaging, you can see the baby’s external features, such as the skin, nose, and tongue, rather than just internal organs. You’ll be able to observe your baby’s activities in the uterus, like kicking and yawning. In contrast, a 2D ultrasound shows a faded greyish image on the screen, primarily displaying the baby’s internal organs as the device scans through.

You may perform an ultrasound for the following purposes-

  • Determining your pregnancy due date.
  • Monitoring your baby’s health.
  • Confirming that the pregnancy is normal and not ectopic (where the baby grows in the fallopian tube).
  • Finding the baby’s position to ensure they are facing the right way.
  • Checking for the possibility of multiple pregnancies.
  • Measuring the size of the fetus and the placenta.
  • Checking the level of amniotic fluid around the baby.
